2025–26 Season (Wichita State)
In his senior season at Wichita State, Gray averaged 8.1 points, 3.4 rebounds, and 2.3 assists per game while shooting 84.7 percent from the free throw line. He showcased his versatility as a guard, contributing as a scorer, facilitator, and rebounder. Gray delivered one of his top performances of the season with 25 points and 10 rebounds against Rice, highlighting his ability to step up in key moments and impact the game across multiple categories.
2023–25 (Nicholls State)
Gray elevated his game during his time at Nicholls State, culminating in a strong junior campaign where he averaged 11.1 points and 2.7 rebounds while shooting 43 percent from the field, 40.9 percent from three-point range, and 82 percent from the free throw line. He played in 29 games with 11 starts, scoring in double figures 16 times, including five 20-point performances. Over a six-game stretch in February, he recorded five 20-point games and a 19-point outing, demonstrating his scoring consistency. Gray poured in a career-high 25 points against Houston Christian and established himself as a dangerous perimeter threat, knocking down 63 three-pointers on the season. His shooting saw major improvement from his sophomore year, where he shot 29.8 percent from beyond the arc, to nearly 41 percent as a junior. He also earned Southland Conference Player of the Week honors during the season.
2021–22 (George Mason)
Gray appeared in eight games as a true freshman at George Mason, totaling 12 points. He recorded a season-high five points against Nevada and added four points and an assist versus Morgan State, while also contributing two points and two assists against Navy.
High School
Gray was a standout at Blue Ridge School, where he played under head coach Cade Lemcke and helped lead the program to three VISAA state championships. In 2020, he earned VISAA and Central Virginia Player of the Year honors after averaging 14.3 points, 4.8 rebounds, and 3.7 assists per game. He led his team with 20 points in the state championship victory over Norfolk Collegiate.

Gray is the son of Mike Gray Sr. and Trina Gray and has one sibling, Toloria.
